The Zarasis-Class Light Cruiser was a classification of cruiser that served in the Greater Rannochian Navy, Migrant Fleet and Rannoch Republican Navy from 1878 CE to 2190 CE, and the successor to the Hesht-class. Named after the Battle of Zarasis in the Quarian-Batarian War, the Zarasis-class light cruiser was the last light cruiser to be commissioned under the Greater Republic. The Zarasis-class took part in the First Morning War, and were the most substantial amount of pre-war quarian ships to survive. The rest became part of the Migrant Fleet, serving in the Heavy Fleet. After the Reaper War, the remaining ships served in the New Republic Navy until replaced by their successor, of which they were soon decommissioned afterwards.
