The M-3 Predator Pistol (M-3 PP), colloquially referred to as the Predator, is a pistol manufactured by Elanus Risk Control Services. Relatively light and one of the cheapest pistols in the galaxy, the M-3 Predator packs a significant punch with a moderate rate of fire. Each round is designed to deliver enormous stopping power, but lacks the penetration to pierce armor or shields, and is therefore mostly effective against unshielded targets. While not generally deployed in the military (with the exception of the Hegemony Defense Force and the Migrant Fleet Marines), it is a favourite amongst mercenary groups and criminal gangs.
